A sales funnel is usually associated with an attraction marketing system and its work depends on the marketing methods you use. This is basically the opening of the funnel.

Your marketing assets grab people’s attention and pull them down the funnel. First people fill out the form on your personal lead capture page then they enter the funnel. I say “in person” because no one will sign up on your lead capture page. You want to join a leader, not a company.

The lead capture page is the entrance to the funnel – when they click the Join Now or Enter Here button, they enter a whole new concept in network marketing.

The best part is that they qualify for it. It is your decision. You haven’t sold them anything but yourself as a leader, mentor, and someone who can show them how to get more leads and more money in their business.

At this point, if you start marketing properly, there should be plenty of leads pouring into the sales funnel from your social media sites (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.), banner ads, forums, and blogs. The number of leads increases even more when you use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising – but that’s another topic for another time.

All of these leads clicked an ad, went to your lead capture page, and filled out the form.

What’s happening now?

Well, they’re getting instant email messages from your autoresponder like clockwork on autopilot.

Build your list

You’ve probably heard it said over and over again, the money is in your list – your list of contacts and prospects. Or maybe “monetize your list”? Sound familiar? If so, your list is simply prospects who have opted into your personal lead capture page. That’s it! As more prospects sign up, your list will grow.

I just wanted to clarify this because some people still seem confused as to what a “list” actually means.

What’s on the news?

Well, there are different things that you would want in it. First, a welcome message that welcomes your prospects to your site and sets the tone for what to expect in the coming days, weeks, or months (depending on the number and timing of your messages).

There are several things you can offer people through the autoresponder. Things to help you build your relationship with the lead – like links to valuable resources, information about you (your background or story), who and what you are. Basically ways for the prospect to learn more about who you are.

Of course, another way to find out about your prospects and vice versa is to give them a call. Crazy concept I know! If a prospect puts their number on the form, give them a call! It’s an immense opportunity to build that relationship with your potential customer and get them to know you.

There are tons of network marketers who never do this. Imagine yourself standing out from the crowd just because it took you 5-10 minutes to call a new prospect. They will love you for it!

You can also add an initial boot camp or training camp scenario via messages and video links that contain training information that you may have offered on your lead capture page. It’s another great way to present yourself as a leader as you share your valuable insights for free.

Back to autoresponders

Now, remember, don’t slam them with your business from the start. They present it to them later on the street. They use autoresponders to just tell them about you, build your relationship and place your affiliate links to your affiliate websites which you use to market yourself.

That way, if they click on the links you provide them with and buy something from this site, you will get a commission for that sale. This can happen multiple times or just once.

So you can keep getting paid even if your leads never involve you in your main business!

The sponsored proposal

The funded offer is an essential part of your sales funnel. A funded proposal is a process of selling an inexpensive but valuable product to cover the costs of your business, and then offering your actual business later, once your prospects have become acquainted with you.

What it does is fund your business with instant profits long enough for you to advertise more, which gets you more leads, which means you can sponsor more leads into your core business.

If you get it right, your spending should be $0 or you can actually make a profit.

Examples could be commissions from affiliate links that you provide in your autoresponder messages. Affiliate commission resources are endless.

To name a few, there’s Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring course and all those products, Ann Sieg’s Renegade Marketer course, Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide to Google Adwords, list builders, autoresponders, social media, e-books, etc. The list really can be endless.

The main reason for a funded proposal is what I just said – selling your cheap products to fund your business.

But there are other reasons too for a funded proposal:

1. If you have someone buying products through your affiliate links or your eBooks, you have an existing customer and their contact information. You are a lead! It’s much easier to later introduce them to your affiliate links and products than to a “cold” prospect you haven’t developed a relationship with.

This is how real money is made in network marketing!

2. Because of the help you’ve already provided through your valuable information in e-books, you’ve positioned yourself as a leader, not a salesperson. You offered them a solution, your advice, your help, and a system.

3. The information they have already acquired through your affiliate links or written materials will educate and train them. If they choose to become part of your business and your downline, they are already trained. Your work is almost done.

4. The biggest problem for anyone who joins a network marketing business is that it can take forever to feel any positive cash flow. The funded proposal eliminates this problem. Your prospects and downline will quickly move into a positive cash flow that prevents burnout or abandonment but builds trust and momentum.

Using a funded suggestion system means positive cash flow for you, endless leads for you, and a source of money for more promotions and even more leads.

This is the system used by the highest earners. They don’t sell their business opportunity in advance. They sell and promote everything BUT their core business.

The funded proposal brings money into their business and attracts more network marketers. Attraction Marketing!

Back to the sales funnel and its work

So far, your prospects are receiving emails from your autoresponder. You will learn valuable information, techniques, strategies, and what it takes to be successful in this industry.

You will also learn information about yourself and the leader you are.

But one thing I always do is give more of what I am. More about me so my leads and prospects have a better idea of ​​who I am. I just compose a message and add it to my autoresponder to send to my prospects.

This post contains all links to my social media pages – my blog, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace, Better Networker.com, etc. All of these pages have videos, photos, ideas, thoughts, tips, and strategies that I give away for free.

That way my prospects can be immediately informed about me whatever I post on these pages. Plus they can always see what I’m doing and realize I’m just a regular Joe. I do not do anything special. I just found the method to make it work for me, so I’m teaching others how to do it too. To pay in advance!

Leads and sales funnel work

Leads that have made it this far down the sales funnel are highly qualified leads. They went to my lead capture page, they received my messages through the autoresponder, and I personally spoke to them on the phone. They attend training calls or webinars. I even come across some leads on-site or at conferences.

You have visited my blog, seen my profiles on Twitter or Facebook, and subscribed to my newsletter.

When a prospect has come this far, they are highly qualified!

The next step is the bottom of the sales funnel work presenting my core business.

This is where you hope to drive all your prospects. This never happens because some leads fall out of the funnel along the way. And that’s okay! Falls will happen no matter what sales funnel system you use. But anyone who makes it this far will be introduced to my core business.

Two Ways to drive all your prospects

They are introduced in different ways. The first is through my autoresponder messages. A message will be sent with links to my main lead capture page, introducing the lead to my work.

Another way is through my blog site or Facebook. I just send them a message when the time is right, or they click on my banner ad, or a message I leave directs them there, or they attend and are introduced to a training webinar.
